Across The Street
Jesus sends His people to live as witnesses in everyday life — in our neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and beyond. At The Grove, going on mission means living with gospel intentionality, serving others with compassion, and helping people encounter the hope of Jesus wherever God has placed us.
Mission begins right where we live. Across the Street is our heart for local mission — loving our neighbors, serving our community, meeting practical needs, and building relationships that point people to the hope of the gospel.
We believe God has placed The Grove in this community on purpose. Whether through acts of service, local partnerships, hospitality, prayer, or everyday conversations, we want to be a people who live sent in the places we already are.
Local Mission Partners
For The Bend
For The Bend is a collaborative effort between several churches in the Richmond/Rosenberg area of Fort Bend County. Through this arm of The Grove, we hope to see churches work together in ways that promote collaboration, unity, and common mission of seeking the welfare of our city (Jeremiah 29.7).
Parent's Night Out
Several times a year, we host a Parents’ Night Out for foster and adoptive families in Fort Bend. Agency-approved volunteers from The Grove provide a safe, structured, and fun environment where children can enjoy dinner, crafts, games, and time together while their parents take a few hours to unwind, rest, and enjoy some time away. Through Parents’ Night Out, we’re honored to come alongside foster and adoptive families and provide practical care and encouragement. Have questions or want to learn more about an upcoming Parents’ Night Out? Email Samantha Wilbanks for more information.
School Support
We partner with Frost Elementary, the school where The Grove gathers for worship each Sunday, by providing a small monthly gift to encourage and support their teachers and staff. We seek to be a faithful presence in the school community through serving, volunteering, and finding meaningful ways to support the school, its staff, students, and families. To get involved or learn more, email Jennifer Stein.

Networks.
Neighborhoods are a great place to start, but they aren’t the only place we are called to be on mission together. While we partner with several networks to help plant churches, we also invite you to engage your regularly visited places and habits as a missionary. It is the main thing Jesus told His disciples to do, and we hope you’ll see the joy in seeing many people find Jesus by your courageous faithfulness.

YOUR NATURAL NETWORK
Don’t wait for the local church to start a program. Instead, enlist a few friends to help you reach people where you are already going. Some examples of natural networks are the baseball field, Cross-fit box, regular visits to the same restaurant, etc. Join God on His mission, right where you are.
